Foxee Test Template
The foxee test template is designed to easily test your stores settings outside of your main template structure. It is a self contained EE template that will display all of your foxee items, users downloads, users sales history and cart tags. You can use this template to easily test your settings and eliminate any problems with your websites templates. You can instantly install the test template from the general settings section of the Foxee settings panel.
Installation
Create your foxee test template instantly in the General Settings panel.
- In the foxee module select Settings and then General Settings.
- Click the "Install Testing Template" link, this will create a new template group called Foxee and a new template called foxee_test_template.
- Change the variables in the top section of the template to match your sites configuration: {assign_variable:my_weblog="products"}, if you are using multiple weblogs to hold your product catalog you will need to change the weblog parameter in each foxee addtocart tag to use piped values instead of the variable.
- View the template in your browser, you will see all of your stores products displayed by product type. You will also see the billing and transaction history for the logged in user. You can perform purchases to test your Foxee/FoxyCart settings.
- *NOTE - If you are logged on as a Super Admin you will see every transaction in the transaction history tag.
- *NOTE - There are several additional tags available in the template code that you can use when copying blocks into your sites templates.
You can copy the code blocks from the template into your sites templates to quickly add foxee functions into your site.
