Using a third party service like FoxyCart in the past has presented problems making your store appear seamless. We have addressed all of these issues so your customers will never know that they are processing their order through FoxyCart. You can use your own domain, SSL certificates, favicons and User Authentication.

• Using Sub-Domains: You can use a sub-domain of your website address to process your orders. By default, FoxyCart uses their own URL to allow access to their system. For an extra fee, you can use your own domain and certificate to help with your SEO (Search Engine Optimization) efforts and create a professional experience for your customers.
• SSL Certificates: Your FoxyCart subscription includes access to their SSL certificate. If you would like to use a individual certificate, you can purchase one from them. FoxyCart requires an extra fee for using you own sub-domain and SSL certificate.
• Favicons: While your customers are accessing the FoxyCart checkout forms, by default, the FoxyCart favicon appears in the URL bar of the browser. You can cache your own favicon in the Foxycart templates to further your online presence.
• User Authentication: The User Auth API allows FoxEE and FoxyCart to exchange your customers' log in information including password exchange. If a user is already a exsisting EE member, a new account will be created in the FoxyCart database for your account. If not, then a new user will be created in your EE member module upon checkout. FoxyCart uses the user email address to identify them. We recommend that you set ExpressionEngine to use email addresses as user names as well. This is not required but may reduce confusion when members register through the foxycart checkout form..

FoxyCart also allows you to use their tags in your EE templates, allowing you to customize your forms and shopping cart.
