Installation
FoxEE is a standard ExpressionEngine module and extension and installs no differently than any other module and extension.
To Install FoxEE
- copy the FoxEE folder into system/modules
- copy the lang.foxee.php into system/language/english
- copy the ext.foxee_extension.php into system/extensions/
- install the FoxEE Module in the module control panel
- enable the FoxEE Extension
- In the FoxEE Module directory set the “Downloads” folder permissions to 775 or 777 depending on your server.
To Remove FoxEE
- disable the FoxEE Extension
- remove the FoxEE Module
- you can safely remove all files
- note: when you remove FoxEE, all orders will be deleted from the database
To Upgrade FoxEE From A Previous Version
- copy the FoxEE folder into system/modules - be sure to not overwrite your downloads directory if you placed it there
- copy the lang.foxee.php into system/language/english
- copy the ext.foxee_extension.php into system/extensions/
- Access the FoxEE module to update the database. DO NOT disable the module, you will lose all your data.
- You can safely disable and re-enable the extension if necessary
