The collaboration module is a very robust social network tool. It works on a group hierarchy that allows you to set up groups, projects, members and resources. Each group can have an unlimited number of projects associated with them and members can be assigned to those projects. Additionally, you can make your project or group publicly available or private.

Use the Collaboration module to organize your company's project and work flow. Assign a group for each department, accounting, sales etc.. Then each group can have their own area in which to collaborate on projects. You can then collaborate on projects with other groups and share resources amongst the whole company.
