Hey guys,
Need a little explanation on how discounts work. My client would like to be able to offer let’s say a 20% discount on a specific product that gets added to the user’s cart. Is this possible?

Discounts happen in two ways;

1. foxee discounts based on EE member groups

2. FoxyCart discounts based on a FoxyCart category.

You can discount a specific product by assigning it a FoxyCart category. I do this to offer Foxee coupons. It can also be used to apply a specific discount to a catalog item.
