FoxyCart has some hooks that allow you to drop customers into a mailing list set up on Campaign Monitor, however, it requires that one use a different data feed URL in the advanced set-up area of FoxyCart - one that would replace the data feed URL required by Foxee to function.

I submitted the post on their forum, and they replied back with the attached response.

What do you think is a possible solution?

We have not built a foxee addon for Campaign monitor yet. We have a potential client that also would like this functionality as well. The only thing different we would do from champaign (the EE campaign monitor addon) is remove users after a subscription expires.

We have all of the specs ready, just need to build it.

I was looking at Champagne.  Would Champagne work with FoxEE?  If so I could use that because I don’t need to remove users after a subscription expires.  I was also looking at the more basic “Campaigner” but didn’t know if that would be okay with FoxEE.

I have not tested Champaign with Foxee but I do not see a reason why it wouldnt work. If you do go that route let us know if you find any problems and we will straighten things out for you.

Is there any documentation on how to make a Foxee addon?

I need to be able to subscribe new customers automatically to Campaign Monitor mailing lists.  No currently available EE addon for adding new users to Campaign Monitor lists will work with Foxee.  I tried Campaigner (it does not get triggered when Foxee/Foxycart creates new users) and Champagne lacks such a feature.

Do you have any suggestions, please?

We are in the process of creating an addon to export sales data upon purchase. Currently setting it up for Retail Anywhere. I would have to look at what Campaign Monitor requires to determine what would need to be done to interface it with Foxee.

If I could use this method (#3), I would, but it requires I point the FoxyCart datafeed at this script, rather than at Foxee.
