We’d like to use one checkout shop from one of the three sites in our multiple site manager for all three sites.  That is, we’d like to configure FoxEE in only one of the sites and use it for all three separate sites in MSM.

Can you do this?  How would you do this?

I believe I posted this in the wrong forum.  Can we place this in the Foxee 10 tech support forum?

Bruce,

The settings of FoxEE is done saved per site so a single settings will not work for all three sites.  Not saying what you want isn’t possible though.

What if you setup one of your sites with FoxEE and put all your products in that site.  Then use that products blog for all your sites and use the foxee tags should all have the “foxee_site=1” (where 1 is the site id you have setup your FoxEE on).

*Products don’t have to be all in one site but the foxee_site is necessary to have.

Hope this helps you out.

Yes, this is what I want to do, have all products in one site.

I imagine I use EE’s “site=” variable for the weblog entry, but, where exactly does the foxee_site=“1” go?

Thanks for the help.

Use it on any foxee tag you are using.

I was able to use one site’s weblog for the products.  I was able to use foxee_site=“2” and the shop in the lightbox showed shop foxee shop 2.  However, I received an error saying my category was not valid if I did not also have foxycart configured in each of the other sites.  It appears that you must have foxEE configured and pointing to your foxycart shop in all sites even though you’re only using the shop from one of your MSM sites.
