“Active Memberships” in the FoxEE control panel won’t display the most recent membership purchase until a new subscription has been purchased

Ok, so here’s what’s happening.  When a user purchases a subscription (user can be logged or not logged in at point of purchase, doesn’t matter).  The new purchase shows up just fine in the “orders” tab of the FoxEE control panel, however, that new subscription will not be displayed in the “active memberships” section until another item is purchased (any other item).... so in essence, it’s always one behind in the display list of active memberships.

The good news is that the memberships seem to work ok.. so for the end user wouldn’t know this.. but from an admin perspective it’s a bit confusing.

Brian,

Is this still happening? It is the first I have ever heard of it and I can’t reproduce it here. Can you please check all of your settings and templates to make sure its not something on your end.

We struggled for hours until finding this post to discover that we are seeing the same thing.

Yes, I too have checked and double-checked… with many different scenarios… different products.. different members.. at different log-in states and each time I get the same result.  The “Active Memberships” section of the control panel is one behind in what it displays.  In other words, once the first membership is purchased… it won’t actually show up under “Active Memberships” until the second one is purchased.  I’ve made sure that my member groups are all correct and that I’m using version 4.0 of the Foxycart store.

Any thoughts as to why?

Brian, when you checkout a new subscription, and Foxee creates a user, does either of the following happen:
1) Do you(the user) get an email from Foxee/EE with the UN and PW for the new user
2) Can you login as that user with the PW they used for FoxyCart?

We’re having a problem where the passwords are not going through, and we’re thinking maybe these problems are related to this issue, so trying to get closer to a solution.

Thanks.

Hey Spyro,

1) Yes
2) Yes

Here’s one thing to pay attention to.  Make sure that under “Settings > General Settings” you have the “Welcome New Member Email” set to “New Member Generation” - THIS is what actually sends the correct email / password combo.  It’s a bit confusing because there are also “Welcome New Member Email” settings at both the product level, and under Settings > Membership Definitions - but I have all of mine set to “email disabled” EXCEPT for the one under Settings > General Settings - that seems to work great.  So give that a try and see if it fixes your problem.

Follow-up - This problem has been resolved with the latest update (build 53) - so thanks to the HCC Development team for fixing!  Looking forward to 110 - especially the seamless login integration stuff… very exciting.
