We will be developing a 2.0 capable module when the time comes. Our current plan is to continue to support the current release even after the 2.0 release so you will have options. If there were to be a price increase for future releases then those wishing to upgrade would only need to pay the difference. Our next release will be determined by any major features added by FoxyCart and right now there is no timeline set for that. Although there are some really cool things in the works.
