Hi,

I just logged on to ee to purchase my 1.6.9 licence and realised they have released 2.1.!

I have a new site to build over the next 2months??
Do you think the new release of FoxEE willl be ready by then, as 1.6EE licences have stopped..

Thanks.

correction. it seems on purchase and download of your new EE2.1 licence that you can chose to download 1.6 for development purposes and upgrade to 2.1 when your ready. So I guess the question is when will you be ready and how much to upgrade? Would be willing to pay a small upgrade fee similar to the pricing structure of EE.

Thanks.

Thanks for your interest in our Beta program. FYI - We have a developed a new product that will bring foxee into EE 2.1, as well as several other CMS’s like WordPress and Joomla. It’s called ACME CART. http://www.acmecart.com

This new module has the same feature set as foxee and a lot more. Beta testing will require dedicated time to understand the new module and how it differs from foxee. We will be providing signup information in the coming week. Thanks for your patience.

Hey HCC team,
Any news on the Acme Cart progress? I don’t see anywhere on the temp site where to sign up for a beta. And it probably shouldn’t say Coming This Summer - unless you mean 2011 wink

How is this going to work? If it works across multiple CMSs, is it no longer an EE module/extension? Thanks!

Hi Marc,

ACME is progressing, although not as fast as we would like. We had a large unexpected hurdle to overcome the last couple weeks and we are now back on track. Thanks for pointing out the coming soon page. The plan is to replace it with our new EE2 website but every time I try to launch it I run into another bug either with EE2 or third party modules. With fingers crossed we will have the site ready this week and people can start registering for the beta program.

In regards to ACME’s layered core structure, it will work just like any third party module for EE with the EE addon installed. The only difference is that it will also allow for advanced features for programmers and enterprise customers. We will be explaining in detail ACME’s structure once the site is ready.

We appreciate everyones patience, no one would like to release ACME CART more then myself smile
