How do I do downloadable products

Hi all -

Sorry if this is a basic question. I have a store with a couple of thousand of products that we ship world wide - these need to be charged shipping and handling. This is all set up.

I also want to do a couple of hundred titles that are downloadable titles - with no shipping or handling.

How do I do this? I have lame tech skills - please help!

Update Account Email

The HCC account I have is for my current employer, but I am leaving. I need to update our HCC user account so that it references my replacement’s email address. However, I can’t seem to find where to do that in the account controls at HCCDevelopment.com. Please let me know how we can change the email associated with our account. Thanks.

exp_foxee_orders table will run out?

Hey there.

I’m using version 0.40.109 (yes, I know it’s old), and I’m concerned that my order_id is going to soon hit 7 digits, even though the exp_foxee_orders table sets int(6). Is there something that will take this into account? Or do I need to adjust the field properties?

The most recent order_id is 978672 ...

Can the Product Type be changed?

There’s a column marked ‘Product Type’ on the order summary page in FoxEE and all orders are marked “Non-Physical Product”. Is it possible to change the product type?

Foxycart Datafeed Error - Price Mismatch

I’m currently setting up a store and I’ve been running test transactions with the Foxycart test gateway. The datafeed appears to be working because new orders show up promptly in the FoxEE Orders tab, as well as in the Foxycart control panel “Transactions” section.

However, in the FoxEE activity log I get the following two messages for every order brought in by the datafeed:

“FoxyCart Datafeed Processed (orderid: 342221): success”
“FoxyCart Datafeed Error (orderid: 342221) Price mismatch. Sku price: /SALE Order Price: 129.99”

These are on separate entries in the activity log, but with identical time stamps.

I can’t find any information in Foxycart’s docs / forums or FoxEE’s docs / forums for this “Price Mismatch” error.

Three questions:

Can you help me understand what is going on here?
Should I be concerned?
How can the datafeed report “success” while there is an error related to the order?

Foxee Queries

After trying to optimize my EE site I enabled query output and noticed that there are multiple (20 or more) mysql queries selecting the module version and then data on every page. I can only assume that this is resulting in longer load issues and I need to get this resolved. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Getting custom fields from the Foxycart datafeed

I have a few custom fields for my products in FoxEE and I’m set up to use the Foxy Cart datafeed. This works. I can place an order and get the order data into FoxEE. What I don’t see in there are the custom fields the user selected (so like the Size the customer selected is not visible in FoxEE). Am I missing somthing or does FoxEE not parse the custom fields. Thanks.

No download link shows up after the purchase is completed

Hey, I am running into this problem for couple of days. I added a downloadable product for sale into my site, and I set up ‘purchased required’ for download. After uploaded the file, and set up the foxee tab of the related weblog, I tested it. The new added product did not show up, and in the order list, it shows the order is completed. I use the following code to show the product:

{exp:foxee:downloads}
{download_name}

Size: {download_size}

{download_desc}

{download_eula}

Accept

Don’t Accept

Download
Homepage
{/exp:foxee:downloads}

Any idea what’s going on? Thanks in advance!

Upgrading to Foxycart V.51 on FoxEE 109 - possible…???

Curious if it’s feasible to upgrade 109 to FoxyCart V.51 which is now running jQuery 1.3.2 and no longer in none conflict mode.

FoxyCart Upgrade notes.

I understand that the jQuery version packaged with 109 would need to be updated but are there any other items that I should be aware of?

Transferring FoxEE to new server

Hi,

I’ve just transferred and EE installation from one server to another. I updated system/config, but did not touch any FoxEE settings because the installation docs did not say to do so.

When I login to the CP, I get

Parse error: syntax error, unexpected '}' in /www/eh10786/public_html/system/extensions/ext.foxee_extension.php on line 1 

Please advise.
